Barry isn't himself this week, but neither is the show.  A villain makes people angry when they gaze into his red eyes.  You'd think Visine might be the solution, but no, instead we have to have the Arrow (the still allegedly gorgeous, undeniably wooden Stephen Amell), accompanied by not only Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards again) but John Diggle (David Ramsey).  The quality of the writing, acting, and direction all drop to make our guests feel at home, along with winceable moments like Felicity and Caitlin being girly together and then telling us how fun it is to be girly together.  I hope that this show isn't on an irreversible downward slide, but I'll give it a few more episodes to get its act back together.

Anna Hopkins would be Samantha Clayton one more time here and I assume is the ex or whatever that Arrow encounters, since she was on Arrow a few times.  Robbie Amell is again Ronnie Raymond.  Cafe Patron Matthew Enright previously was Hipster on Bike.  Scared Man Rhys Williams would later be simply a Man.  Paul Anthony, this week's Guest Villain, would return as Roy G. Bivolo (get it, because he manipulates people through color?) AKA Rainbow Raider (which sounds like a Gay Pride marcher).

Berlanti & Kreisberg wrote the story which Brooke Roberts made into a teleplay with Arrow writer Ben Sokolowki.
