In this Tim McAuliffe story (his first of ten), Phil resents the appearance of Todd (the episode's title character), while Carol is happy to "nudge" Todd & Melissa together as a couple. At this point, even with two supposed to be redemptive speeches, Phil is easily the least appealing character on his own show. I'll give this one more chance, but I'm not optimistic.
Michael Patrick Jann didn't direct any other episodes for this series.
