The Legend of Korra: Endgame
The Legend of Korra: Endgame
Nickelodeon
June 23, 2012
Cartoon, Action, Fantasy, Sci-Fi
DVD
B-
As the episode title suggests, this wraps up Season One, also known as "Book One: Air," and one of the things that happens is that after Amon takes away Korra's bending of three elements, she's able to finally achieve air-bending. Luckily, Aang's spirit restores all her powers, and it's overall a happy ending, including Mako and Korra declaring their love.
This first season ranges from C+ to B, averaging out to the B- that seven of the twelve episodes earn. I would've liked more about Republic City, including its appearance, and less about the sport of pro bending. Still, I'm certainly going to continue with "Book Two: Spirits," especially now that Korra is a full-fledged four-elements-bending Avatar.
