Zarqa Nawaz wrote this episode by herself and it's not as sharp as the pilot, although it is interesting to see what effect Baber's insistence on a mosque barrier has on the community. Meanwhile he has to deal with his daughter Layla (Aliza Vellani) reaching menarche and thus being old enough for the hijab.
Kashif Khan makes his first of 50 appearances as Mercy Resident, an impressive amount for such a minor character.
