Mr. and Mrs. North started out as short stories by Richard Lockridge, who collaborated on novels about the characters with his wife Frances.  Then came Broadway, film, radio, a 1946 New-York-airing television show and then this, preserved for your enjoyment more than fifty years later.  This collection has just four episodes but I'm going to assume they're a good sampling.  I like the chemistry between Denning and Britton, and she's utterly charming as the main sleuth.  I did figure out the murderer as soon as I heard the assistant say she wears one earring as an affectation, but I did like seeing the story play out.
