The title of Leonard Dick's story, his first of three, has nothing to do with Communism; there just are a lot of episode titles with a "red" theme, for whatever reason.  (Something to do with the "Red John" case?  It's true of Season One, too.)  I'd have preferred that to the stuff with the biker gang, especially since the guest acting isn't as good as usual.

This is the middle of three Mentalist episodes directed by Norberto Barba.
