My biggest gripe with this Lorenzo Music story is that it has too much telling instead of showing.  I can kind of see that with the speech that Ted gives at Phyllis's women's club, but why does Mary narrate (over the phone) Ted locking himself in her bathroom?  I feel like if this were a later-season episode, we would've been shown more.  (Imagine if Mary narrated, "And then another person walked in on me when I was in the tub!")
