In this Bob Rodgers story, Lou's 22-or-23-year-old nephew hits on Mary and then spreads rumors about her, but Mary is too trusting and forgiving, so she takes his "excuse" that he's a virgin at face value. We find out that Lou thinks of Mary as his daughter, at least at this point. Note that there's a reference to "last Christmas party," but maybe this was supposed to air later.
