I like the premise of this-- a 12-year-old Irish boy in 1989 has a grown man for an imaginary friend-- but unfortunately I don't really like the characters or what's done with them.  In particular, the protagonist Martin agrees to let a bully touch his sister's "boob" in exchange for protection from other bullies, so she tells the protector off but then later goes out with him, even though he kisses "like a washing machine."  I'm tagging not only Chris O'Dowd, who plays the imaginary friend and co-wrote the script (based on his own childhood), but Collins and Evans for the Dynasty clips.
