I might've gone with a C- for this prequel to Inspector Morse, even though I didn't really care about any of the characters, since I appreciated that there was minimal violence for this genre.  But although my eyes were spared, my ears were not: there was far too much opera, so I could barely make it to fifteen minutes.  And it's set during the '60s, when there was so much great pop music!  Colm McCarthy directed one more episode.
