Leslie makes a kumquat "liqueer" and everyone in the family (but 12-year-old Gerry) and some of their friends get drunk. Meanwhile Gerry goes through a series of tutors and Larry moves out because, while his novel is a success in England, no one cares in Greece, including his family. Also, he's "too happy," whatever that means. Oh, and Margo realises she likes boys too much to become a nun.
Vernon Dobtcheff would be back a couple times as Mr. Kralefsky.
