Various births happen-- Louisa helping Florence, Leslie (!) helping Lugaretzia's daughter, and Gerry and Theo watching the female otter who's got it under control-- while Vasilia stabs Hugh after he and Louisa really talk things out.  As for Margo, she picks what Donald justifiably says is the worst boyfriend possible, an arrogant Turk named Zoltan (Merch Husey, who would be back for Series Three).  Louisa cries on Spiros's shoulder near the end of the long day, and scares her children by telling them she loves them.  It's not a bad place to leave them all, although of course the programme is still running.  (Series Three started in March of this year.)

But since my library doesn't have Series Three yet, I'll note that this is a shade weaker than Series One, sitting right on the B/B+ border.  That's still very impressive of course.  Nothing went terribly wrong but it is arguable that Hugh made for a less compelling doomed romance for Louisa than Sven did.  I've spoiled myself a little and it looks like Louisa might get together with Spiros, which makes sense, as that's where the chemistry is strongest.  I haven't yet read any of the books (one is requested), so I don't know how much that's artistic license and how much that's rooted in reality.  In any case, DiC is like an offbeat 20th-century fairytale and it's going to take a very long time for anything to equal it.
