The writing is better here, including the first "Family" sketch, with McDowall as the visiting and neglected successful son, but the real highlights are the performances of the Jacksons, especially Michael, who looks, moves, and sounds cool even in orange and plaid. And, yes, an earthquake hits in one scene and Carol ad-libs about it.
This time some of the writers are, with credits on shows I've reviewed, Gary Belkin (a couple early Three's Company episodes), Roger Beatty (a '75 Bob Newhart Show episode), Arnie Kogen (a couple BNS episodes), Clair & McMahon and Richmond & Perret (see previous entry).
