In this John Marcus story, we find out that Rudy is 5 and Theo is 13.  Theo is the subject of the A-plot, where Cliff tries to live vicariously through his son on the football team and there's a (very slim) B-plot, where Rudy feels neglected as the youngest.  Note that Theo's friend Cockroach is mentioned but not yet seen, as the focus remains on the family.
