Rudy takes in a seemingly stray dog.  Oddly enough, in at least a couple Season One episodes, Vanessa really wanted a dog, but here she's moping because the family is going to Washington, DC, to visit Clair and so Vanessa will miss The Party of the Year (TM).  Peter Costa again plays Peter.  This is the first of three Cosby stories by Chris Auer.
