It's kind of hard to know how to take this Gary Kott story where Clair gives Theo permission to take a flying lesson, and as Vanessa points out still won't let her wear makeup, and Clair forbids Cliff to take flying lessons, but she also lectures Rudy to not be bossy. This episode not only features Carl Payne as Cockroach but introduces Deon Richmond as Rudy's "boyfriend" Kenny whom she has renamed Bud.
