Clair is feeling overwhelmed by her responsibilities at work and home, so Cliff takes her to a hotel one night and the problem is solved. So much for addressing the second shift, or the kids lending a hand. Note that this came much earlier in the production order (judging by where it is on the DVD), but I'll try to post these in airdate order. And, yes, at about the midpoint of season one, I'm committed to seeing it through, unless things tank quickly and dramatically. (The C+ average will probably be maintained.)
