In Janet Leahy's first of eighteen Cosby stories, both Huxtable parents are sick so Theo, Vanessa, and Rudy argue over housework. And meanwhile, workmen show up to work on the banister and no one tells them to come back at another time.
It turns out that Mr. Davis (Lou Myers) was indeed laid off from the hospital, but is now working for Sam Lucas (David Langston Smyrl, who played a couple different roles earlier). Ana D. Zenon returns as Lana Herman.
