In John Markus's first of 68 Cosby stories, Vanessa, who so far has more to do than the other kids, has bad dreams after seeing a scary movie. Again, that's the entire plot and we only see the family. Note that Denise supposedly comes home right after dinner on a bad date, and yet her father has been sleeping downstairs for awhile, after trying to sleep in the same bed with Vanessa and Clair.
