This episode introduces some more cast members:
- Maurice LaMarche, his first characters being Horrible Gelatinous Blob, Moon Rover Ride Narrator, Ralph Kramden Animatronic, the Crushinator, and Buggalo
- Phil LaMarr in his recurring role of Hermes Conrad but here also as Animatronic Gopher #2
- Lauren Tom in her regular role of Amy Wong
Fry is excited when he hears they're going to make a delivery on the moon, until it finds out that Luna Park is a bland amusement park. I felt like this episode was less focused than the pilot, although I did enjoy the sometimes very old pop-cultural references, like A Trip to the Moon (1902).
Ken Keeler would write thirteen more Futurama episodes. Gregg Vanzo is again supervising director, this time working with Peter Avanzino.
