Despite the title, this is one of the better episodes of the first season.  It introduces both Morbo the human-hating anchorman (voiced by LaMarche) and Prof. Farnsworth's former student and century-long rival Dr. Ogden Wernstrom (voiced by David Herman).  Lewis Morton delivers a script that is both environmental and satirical; he would write eleven more.

Nancy Cartwright fittingly voices the Bart Simpson Doll.  Ron Popeil voices his own head.  Vanzo's co-director this time is Susie Dietter.
